The Data Lake Chain is a pioneering Layer 3 blockchain designed to empower decentralized science (DeSci) and healthcare research. Built on Arbitrum Orbit, the Data Lake Chain is tailored for secure and compliant management of consents.
In early 2024, Data Lake launched its application to simplify and secure the consent management process for patients, researchers, and healthcare providers. With rising on-chain activity, it became clear that a custom-built blockchain infrastructure was necessary to handle the high volume of transactions efficiently and securely.
Development began on the Mokotow Testnet, a dedicated testing environment for the Data Lake Chain, where early functionalities were rigorously tested to ensure performance, security, and compliance. The testnet enabled Data Lake to refine its Layer 3 blockchain, built on Arbitrum Orbit, harnessing the scalability and low-cost transaction capabilities of Arbitrum's Layer 2 ecosystem.
After successful trials on the Mokotow Testnet, the Data Lake Chain Mainnet launched in Q3 2024, bringing to life a robust blockchain solution specifically tailored for decentralized science (DeSci) and healthcare.
Although the Data Lake Chain Mainnet has launched, it is not fully accessible to the general public yet. Please proceed using the Chain only if you have previous experience with Web3.
