Data Lake’s was founded by:

Ligia Kornowska, MD - Co-founder and Chairperson of the Board

Medical doctor and thought leader, Ligia has been featured in Forbes’ 25 under 25 and 30 under 30 lists, as well as being named in the top 100 Women in AI and the top 100 most influential people in Polish healthcare. She is also the managing director of the Polish Hospital Federation and leader of AI in healthcare coalition. Ligia is also co-author of the first comprehensive Code of Conduct for Healthcare Data under art. 40 of GDPR officially approved in Europe.

Wojciech Sierocki, MD - Co-founder and CEO

Wojciech is a medical doctor, humanitarian and serial entrepreneur. Featured in Forbes’ 25 under 25 and Forbes 30 under 30 lists, he led a telemedicine startup in Kenya, built a digital patient’s pathway solution for private healthcare, worked as an emergency medicine doctor and set up a training center for private ortopaedic clinic.

Oliver Šlapal - Co-founder and CTO

Oliver is a seasoned Web3 expert and entrepreneur, he combines strategic insight with technical depth in Blockchain and AI. With a background in International Business from the University of Victoria and AI Management from Kozminski University, he has spent over seven years angel-funding and advising 50+ Web3 projects, while successfully launching and exiting multiple startups. He ensures Data Lake stays at the frontier, leveraging the latest and most effective technologies.

Currently Ligia Kornowska and Wojciec Sierocki serve as the stewards of the Data Lake Ecosystem, while Community members are expected play active role in the development of the project.
